Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile supporters when she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in only three events recently and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to compete, relax, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence exposes the sport to different demographics, specifically among the next generation.

Kai maintains millions of followers and recently launched a personal fashion and living company.
