The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
